Fresno City Firefighters Local 753 is saddened to announce the passing of Fire Engineer Sandi Johanns following a battle with job-related cancer. Services for Sister Johanns will take place on August 25 at the Peoples Church in Fresno.

CAL FIRE Local 2881 and CAL FIRE are saddened to announce the line of duty death of Heavy Equipment Operator Braden Varney. Brother Varney died while fighting the Ferguson Fire near Yosemite.
